Splicing tapes for casting papers

Our line of adhesive tapes specifically designed for joining release papers in the transfer coating industry, during PU and PVC coating cycles.

Here below you can see how these particular tapes are applied:

1624 Black Splicing Tape: tape for “top” side of release papers. Siliconised polyester film, coated with an aggressive adhesive for maximum adhesion on release papers, including those highly embossed. This tape has good release characteristics to both PU and PVC coatings and excellent resistance to shrinkage; even with high temperature involved (200 °C) with curing and blowing of PVC.

7102 Brown Paper Tape: tape for “backside” of release papers. Kraft siliconised paper tape with an acrylic water-soluble adhesive. Thanks to its perfect adhesion, it is strongly recommended for the high temperature resistance for short periods (up to 240 °C). It allows reusing the join many times in the coating process.

Thanks to our splicing tape line, Rolltape is not only the undisputed leader on the Italian market but also a point of reference for several companies in Brazil, Colombia, Mexico, Russia, Turkey and Morocco for over 20 years.
